Who are we ?
Ex Æquo is a non-profit organization that started in 1994, the aims are to promote health and to decrease the rate of new sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among men who have sex with men.
Since 1994, Exaequo has been the place where men who have sex with men meet to fight HIV/AIDS.
Hiv + and HIV -, all equally "HIV-concerned", these men come together and, from their experiences in their community, collectively decide on actions to improve their health and quality of life as well as those of their peers.
Present in Wallonia and in Brussels, the Exaequo gay community association:
- receives you for a free, confidential and immediate screening of HIV and syphilis in its premises but also in gay shops
- facilitates appointments for a complete check-up of STDs
- inform and accompany you throughout your PrEP journey
- advise you HIV+ and gay friendly doctors
- inform and reorient you if you have questions or concerns about drug use
A group of men living with HIV gathers several times a year for an informal meeting called Tea Plus. More info on our facebook page.
